The cabin was built in 1977, is sheltered and private right by the sea, and has a single standard with a cozy family atmosphere.
Small garden with lawn and plants, and a beach with possibilities for swimming just below. Perfect for a family holiday.
The kitchen was renovated in 2013 to modern standards with induction hob, but no dishwasher. In the basement there is a separate living room with TV and also access to the garden. For storage either the basement or a separate woodshed above the cabin can be used.
For those seeking an 'authentic Norwegian' cabin with tranquility and without too much luxury, this lodge is recommended. Ferry traffic does not interfere, and you do not hear any motor traffic. Store and gas station is close by.
Gjermundshavn has ferry traffic to Varaldsøy and Årsnes, and is an excellent starting point for excursions in Hardanger, Bergen and Sunnhordland.

All our cabins have the following standard equipment:
- Electric heating
- Warm and cold water.
- Winterinsulation.
- Bathroom with heated floor, sink, water closet and shower.
- Kitchen outfitted for the number of people/beds in the cabin. Pans and cutlery, 4-burner electric cooker with oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, water boiler, microwave, mixer, toaster and vacuum cleaner.
- Detergents, kitchen towels, paper and other consumer product the guests will have to provider for themselves.
- Quilts and cushion for all beds. Linen and towels the guest will have to bring or order in advance.
- TV with Norwegian channels and Astra satellite dish.
- Garden furniture and a plain grill.
- Parking by the garden wall.
- 4,6 m plastic boat (14ft) with 9,9 Hp outboard.
- Lifejackets for adults up to 90 kg.
