| | Ranavik - Halsnøy | | | Modern building project in the style of a fisherman’s shack (called “Rorbu”), 8 units in a row. All are winter insulated, electrically heated and have high standards. H71 is the one on the left. Parking above the construction. All houses are built with identical room-placing and have a private outdoor space and shared quay area.
Great view towards the Hardanger Fjord and Høylandsundet. The ferry landing is the nearest neighbour and one must consider some activity in the area. This does not have to be negative, it may be nice to watch ferry and express boats calling and people travelling. There is no night traffic.
In the forests around Ranavik there are several nice marked walks and forest roads to explore, in the right season good findings of mushrooms and berries. Good fishing spots just around the nearest point and also on the quay.
Each “Rorbu” has just place for one boat, and additional boats (also private) are therefore not possible. The rorbu may be rented on a daily basis with no fixed exchange days.

All our cabins have the following standard equipment:
- Electric heating
- Warm and cold water.
- Winterinsulation.
- Bathroom with heated floor, sink, water closet and shower.
- Kitchen outfitted for the number of people/beds in the cabin. Pans and cutlery, 4-burner electric cooker with oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, water boiler, microwave, mixer, toaster and vacuum cleaner.
- Detergents, kitchen towels, paper and other consumer product the guests will have to provider for themselves.
- Quilts and cushion for all beds. Linen and towels the guest will have to bring or order in advance.
- TV with Norwegian channels and Astra satellite dish.
- Garden furniture and a plain grill.
- Parking by the garden wall.
- 4,6 m plastic boat (14ft) with 9,9 Hp outboard.
- Lifejackets for adults up to 90 kg.

Deposit is 1000 NOK. On cancellation within 30 days of arrival the deposit will be refunded. On later cancellation the landlord will keep the full deposit.
